A GUIDE TO SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR RECOVERY

Part 1 - IMPROVING YOUR RECOVERY

“My Day Case Hysterectomy” is designed to provide you with information about laparoscopic “key-hole” hysterectomy. Today, most procedures can be done as a “day case”, which means you go home the same day and do not need to stay overnight in hospital.

You will learn about the advantages of key-hole, day case procedures such as how they reduce pain, shorten recovery time and reduce scarring.

Discover what to expect during your time in hospital and how we manage pain, reduce sickness, make sure you can pass water OK and get you moving. Hear about the experience of patients.

Be in the driver’s seat of your recovery journey and return to the comfort of your home on the very same day.

Our expert panel of physicians and healthcare professionals is here to guide the way. Stay informed, stay empowered, and optimise your recovery after surgery!
